New Delhi: Nitin Gadkari was today elected unopposed as BJP President for a three-year term in the organizational polls held today.
The announcement was made by Mr Thawar Chand Gehlot, BJP General Secretary and Returning officer for the elections to president's post.

He was 81 years old. He was the son of Dr. Syama Prasad Mookerjee’s youngest sister Mrs. Ramala Devi. According to the information made available by Mr. Justice Chittatosh Mookerjee, President, Ashutosh Memorial Institute.
