“India needs to revamp its indigenous procedures and technology to compete developed countries” -M.M Joshi.

“Gandhi showed the best way, but Nehru’s denial to that is the reason of all debacles that India faces today”- K. S Sudarshan.

English is the obstacle which has demoralized crores of aspirations which arise in the countryside of India said Shri K S Sudarshan releasing ‘Superpowering India’ a book authored by former AIR Marshal A K Mukhopadhyay here in the constitution club, New Delhi. He was particularly thrashing on Nehru and his centralized model of development. He said that neither Nehru was competent enough to be the Prime Minister of India nor he was the obvious choice of Princely States, but he was able to grab the highest executive post with the interference of Gandhi in his favor and the English man who wanted someone to protect their interest in India even after they leave Indian land. In the end, Nehru left Gandhian model of decentralization which largely suited the polity and interest of Bharat. He also said that Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose did not die in the air crash, but was kept in the Russian jail with the consent of Nehru. Speaking on recent economic meltdown he said that India was least affected by the global crisis because, we have not given up our family culture. We have Dharma towards each other and this Dharma must not be confused with religion, as this defines the duty which we undertake towards each other and are bound to carry it and everybody is answerable to his/her duty. We must return to our roots, and preserve our Sanatan culture which we have developed from ages. Talking about the book he said, the author in his work has identified the real problems and highlighted the core issues of grief which surrounds us today and the political class must find answers to it. Answering a query on BJP he said that all are swayamsewaks and we can guide them if they want us to do so, but there is no case that we supervise their activities. M .M Joshi in his address to the function made remarkable points on issues of national interest. He said that we have co-joined our mindsets with the western lifestyle which does not match the Indian philosophy of life. He said if India gets determined it would be an unstoppable journey and sky will be the limit for us, but somehow we are still colonized in our mindsets and hangovers that we have started undermining our own capacities, capabilities and the potentials which we carry in our hearts and minds. He argued that we had a grand share of over 24% in world economy until the Britishers came in and they left 2 - 2.5% for us and even after 62 years of our freedom, we are yet to cope up and are still lagging behind. Mr. Joshi mentioned that his book will be extremely good for all academic purposes as it highlights the curses that we have been carrying off late and opens a forum for debate and a debate is an essential constituent in a flourishing democracy.
