New Delhi, December 6: “The whole world knows that Ayodhya is the birthplace of Shri Ram and there are over 30,000 temples in the country over which mosques were built by Muslim invaders. More than three thousand temples were demolished in Delhi alone to built Jama Masjid. The matter of Shri Ramjanmabhoomi is in the court for the last 60 years and is still pending. The only solution to this issue is that all political parties should come forward for Shri Ram Temple by enacting a law in Parliament,” said VHP international president Shri Ashok Singhal. He was addressing a gathering of Rambhaktas assembled at Shaurya Diwas organised by Delhi unit of Bajrang Dal today.
Shri Singhal said despite the fact that no namaz was offered in Ayodhya since 1934, a roumour was aired all over the world that a mosque was demolished on December 6, 1992. He said Hindus are being defamed under a well planned conspiracy by telling lies. “Fact is that the Hindus never demolished any mosque during the last thousand years. Rather the Muslim invaders demolished our 30,000 temples and over three thousand temples were demolished in Delhi alone to build the Jama Masjid of Delhi,” he said adding that the saints are of the opinion that the Hindu society can forget all the wounds if Shri Ramjanmabhoomi is returned to them by enacting a law in Parliament, as the result of the case in the court has been zero. He said the tolerance of Hindu should not be tested further.
Addressing the gathering at Raja Garden Crossing national convener of Bajrang Dal Advocate Prakash Sharma said the politics of lie would not be allowed in the country and the Bajrang Dal is committed to build a temple in Ayodhya at any cost. He said the Bajrang Dal has entered in 25th year of its inception and it is now young and strong enough to materialize any of the instructions of the saints. He said the enrolment of 25 lakh Bajrangis during the Silver Jubilee year is the evidence that the Hindu youth are ready to face any challenge.
Vice president of VHP Shri Omprakash Singhal said the country is facing terrorism due to active support of some internal and external forces. Our neighbouring countries Pakistan, China, Bangladesh and Afghanistan are conspiring to weakening the country. The demolition of the structure in Ayodhya on December 6, 1992 awakened the self-respect of the nation. He said the Hindu society would not sit silent till a magnificent Shri Ram temple is built in Ayodhya. The Hindu Sammelan was presided over by Shri Ishwar Prakash Gupta, chairman of Sadhna TV. Mahant Naval Kishor Das, general secretary of Sant Mahamandal, administered the oath of reconstruction of the temple in Ayodhya.

 

The proceedings of the Sammelan were conducted by Shri Ashok Kapoor, state convener of Bajrang Dal. State VHP president Shri Swadesh Pal Gupta, vice president Smt Tara Gupta, senior vice president Shri Rajendra Prasad, general secretary Shri Satyendra Mohan, state organizing secretary Shri Karuna Prakash, Bajrang Dal co-convener Shri Shailendra Jaiswal, Durga Vahini convener Kumari Anjali, state secretary Shri Ramkrishan Shrivastava, Shri Gurdin Prasad Rustagi, Shri Ashok Kumar were also present on the occasion.
